Getting Started
A focused estimating tool that helps you price work with confidence. Build a clean bill of material, apply realistic labor,
include direct job expenses, review totals, and export client-ready summaries.
Contractors and estimators who want a consistent workflow, clear numbers, and client-ready outputs—without wrestling a spreadsheet.
No install. Use a current desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox) for the best experience.
Handy on mobile for quick checks; do full estimating on desktop for speed and accuracy.
Estimates & Workflow
Start a new estimate, add the project info, then work the same sequence every time:
Materials → Labor (units & adjustments) → DJE → Summary. Consistency prevents misses. Save anytime; export when ready.
Open an estimate and choose Edit, Clone, or Delete.
Cloning is best for similar scopes—rename it and adjust quantities, not just prices.
Your defaults (rates, overhead, margin, tax) carry over to new estimates. Line items don’t. Each project is independent
to avoid cross-contamination.
Save as you go. Save before exporting so your outputs reflect the latest numbers.
Summary & Pricing
From your Settings. Set them once; new estimates use those defaults. You can review and adjust on the
Summary tab when pricing a job.
Totals first, then Overhead, then Margin. Sales tax is applied to taxable items where required. The goal: a clear path from cost to price.
Your estimate is what it will cost you to do the work (labor, material, DJE, overhead).
Your bid is your selling price—estimate plus profit.
Materials, DJE & Assemblies
Materials: Individual items you purchase and install.
DJE (Direct Job Expense): Job-specific costs that aren’t materials (permits, equipment, travel).
Assemblies: A reusable bundle (materials + labor) you add in one step for repeat scopes.
DJE (Direct Job Expense): Job-specific costs that aren’t materials (permits, equipment, travel).
Assemblies: A reusable bundle (materials + labor) you add in one step for repeat scopes.
A labor unit is the time to install one item under standard conditions. Adjust when job conditions change
(height, access, schedule, repetition, crew skill). The app totals quantity × labor unit × any adjustment.
Yes. Use the Libraries pages to add or edit Materials, DJE items, and Assemblies, then pull them into estimates.
Treat labor units as a starting point. Adjust for site conditions and crew. Document your adjustments so you can review them later.
Data, Security & Privacy
See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in the site footer. They cover ownership, retention, and how we handle your data.
Exports (PDF & CSV)
Right now, it’s a simple PDF version of the Summary page—made for your records, not client delivery.
A polished, client-ready layout is planned for a later update.
A line-level file for your records: codes/descriptions, quantities, costs, labor units/hours, and totals—useful for audits or import elsewhere.
Save first, then export (Export PDF or Export CSV) so your files match the latest numbers.
Branding isn’t available yet. You’ll be able to add your logo and company colors in a future update.
Accounts, Organizations & Roles
For now, each account is single-owner. Multi-user organizations and team invites are planned for a future release.
Currently, every account is single-owner—no separate roles or team members yet.
Owner/Admin roles will arrive when multi-user workspaces launch.
You do. Your estimates are your data; we process them to provide the service.
Billing & Plans
Choose monthly or annual. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. You can change plans; updates take effect on the next cycle.
Fees are generally non-refundable. Cancel anytime; you keep access through the paid period.
Where required, taxes are added at checkout. Prices shown are before tax.
We email the billing contact and keep copies in your account’s billing area.
Troubleshooting
Check your email and password, reset if needed, and make sure you’re using a supported browser.
If problems persist, contact support.
Start from the Estimates page (not a reused tab) and confirm you didn’t open a clone by mistake.
If it still looks off, save the estimate name, note your steps, and email support so we can help.
Save the estimate first, then export. If the issue continues, share the estimate name, time of attempt, and browser with support.
Hard-refresh your browser, close other heavy tabs, and update to the latest version. If it continues, contact support with your browser and OS version.
Keep the base scope clean. Price alternates separately so clients can compare.
For changes after award, create a change order that references the original estimate line(s) and shows the delta clearly.
